A simple narrative piece following a young server as she grapples with mortality and the idea of inexorable loneliness in a conversation with a widowed wife. 

The first two chapters of a longer piece of fiction. It is a gothic parody of the Beauty and The Beast tale—showcasing themes of loneliness in the ideals of modern society, ownership, and a lack of agency. 

A more contemporary first-person narrative as the protagonist goes through a depersonalization episode: the ecstasy and the fall of feeling unreal. 

The shortest fiction about the ignorance of childhood growing into the understanding of complicated family dynamics and trauma.
